"I saw Jacqueline play this at the Sydney Town Hall in about 1971. The thing I remember most was the interval. Usually, there is noise and hubbub of people chatting but there was almost an eery quiet. People were almost in a sense of shock. I have never experienced anything like it since and it still remains as the most vivid concert and gut-wrenching music I have ever heard. I still cannot hear anyone else play this without thinking of that night"
